As far as I know it is, I will chase up the VIN and maybe somebody can identify it. I don't know too much of the history on this car other than that I am the 3rd owner. Previous was a 17 year old kid who had it for about 1 and 1/2 years. Before that it was owned from new by a guy, who upon getting old, passed it on to his son. The son got old too and let it stand and got unregistered. This is when the 17 year old kid found it and bought it. Had to do some work (tyres, some electrical work and other minor things) to get it registered. Could not keep it because he didn't have the money or time to restore. This is when I came in. Have many plans for it (mainly stock, but my own work - i.e. Not planning to *buy* carpets but rather make them, etc). Parts for T3a are rather hard to come by in Australia, there are VW shops (nothing like in South. Calif.) but about 40-50 Km from where I live.
