My 71 manual FI square doesn't like to start run well when it rains. Today I started it up and it ran crappily. So much so that I couldn't even change parking places. Anyway I opened up the engine compartment to do the dry out the distributor cap trick and found water where it shouldn't be. The strangest was under the mat in the cargo area but no visible runs to indicate how it got there. The second was some small splashing on the left of the engine. It almost looks like it was thrown out of the generator. The car had sat for like 5 rain free days before this. Any ideas?
