>As an addendum to my last message; does anyone know why my speedo has a >orange mark between 40 and 60 kph, while all the others are white? It is the 50 kph line that is marked red. I dont know if this is by German or European regulations, but it is because 50 kph is the "general" city speed limit in Europe, so it is done this way as a reminder. Most German cars have a red 50 kph line, including my 87 Audi and mom's 94 VW.
