...or maybe they simply have a US plate just because Cali is considered THE
original spot for the VW scene. The USA VW water-pumpers love to get German
license plates for their cars, heck, I swapped out the small stock NA (North
America) license plate tub for a longer European one. One day I'll get a rear
(even if expired) Euro license plate to fill the gap...
