Assuming you've got some basic tool sense, this is not true. Get hold of a Bentley Type 3 manual, it gives the step-by-step and you can see for yourself. Beware Type 1 mechanics, there is far more legend than real knowledge out there concerning Type 3s. => if I install heavy duty shock absorbers => in the rear ... Your suspension is designed for adjustment, and proper adjustment is necessary to a good, safe ride. You'll be much happier in the end if you take the time to get the suspension back in spec. It's not really a huge deal.
