The process for the rear is basically the same for all the Types, but Type
3s use different parts.

Assuming you've got some basic tool sense, this is not true. Get hold of a
Bentley Type 3 manual, it gives the step-by-step and you can see for
yourself. Beware Type 1 mechanics, there is far more legend than real
knowledge out there concerning Type 3s.

Your suspension is designed for adjustment, and proper adjustment is
necessary to a good, safe ride. You'll be much happier in the end if you
take the time to get the suspension back in spec. It's not really a huge
deal.
