	The US models were made in Germany... it is more likely than 
not that the serial number of the car(s) you look at should match up 
to the list.

	Starting in 1970, though, the Squareback's front sheetmetal 
changed ("long-nosed", where the front VW emblem is basically 
vertical), and the bumpers have more of a rectangular cross-section, 
rather than curved.
