FYI, ISPWest has this auto tranny rebuild kit on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2401940791&cat egory=34208 for $125. In the add you can see the name of the manufacture 'Alto' in the pics. This got me to thinking, if they can get them from Alto, I'm sure I could get them too, but cheaper. So I called Alto and they make like five different kits for the Type 3 auto tranny, steel module, friction module, bannner, overhaul, and a master kit. I think all come with seals and gaskets needed and the master kit has all the clutch packages. Although, you cannot by them directly from Alto they did give me the name and phone number of distributers in my area. So I contacted the closest one and they could order all the kits, the most expensive being the Master kit which was $110 plus shipping, and the rest were $80+, except for one that was $25. I think the one from ISPWest is just the Steel Module #034753, which is only $80 from the distributor. You can check out the Alto catalogue at http://www.altousa.com/catalogs.htm So if anyone needs to rebuilt there autotranny, call Alto or try your local distibutor. I have no affiliation, just relying my research.
