028 is a 1972 Brain.  Make sure the connector or its inserts to the trigger
points arent reversed... it IS possible to get that plug in backwards if its
worn and you will start to bog after half throttle that way.

PS... more than 60K or so on the valves is worse than driving around with a
timing belt that old... if a valve breaks the game is over.
