What Martin didn't mention is that the red is a powder coat with very small
gold sparkles in it. You have to get within a few inches to see the sparkles.
That powder coating is what makes this engine beautiful and will far out last
ordinary paint ;-)
Yes, we already have our air-bagged and mega-stereo DDB member wanting to get
one of these big engines and polish the top (see the oil cooler stud pictures
for a sample...yeah baby!).
I've been watching Martin build this engine and once that tin went on I started
twitchin', too! 8-D
