Fuse charts are contained in the Bentley manual, which you should have for this 
and many other reasons. Here's the specifics:

Volkswagen Official Service Manual
Type 3 Fastback and Squareback 1968-1973
published by Robert Bentley, Cambridge, Mass, 1974
ISBN 0-8376-0057-X / LPV 997 383 / VSQU
(excellent book, complete and well written)

These are still in print, although only the first ~10 printings had the wiring 
diagrams in color. Used copies are always coming up on ebay.

I'll have to look tonight to see what that fuse feeds, but maybe you could give 
us some more info first. What no longer works now that this fuse is blown? Is 
your 73 still FI or has it been converted to carbs?
