The only Type 3 Tach that I know of with a VW part number on it is the Aussie tach. It is part number 31A 919 003 The 31A is the part number prefix for Type 3 Australia parts. It is a Type 3 tach, and it is factory. I still don't think ANY type 3s, except possibly the type 34s, came from the factory with tachs. I think they were all aftermarket, which includes dealer installed units. They don't appear in the VW parts lists, so I don't think you'll find a VW part number or logo on them. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
