All part of my "willful campaign of misinformation" > > :) > As opposed to the accidental campaign I'm guilty of from time to time? I have seen both a black '67 Squareback and a black '70 Fastback. The Fastback had a red interior - very smart and totally original. There's a black Notchback in the VW Museum. The Fastback with experimental front struts was also black. The colour code is listed on the VW paint colours for Type 3s. Some people seem to like the colour, but I don't think anyone at the European meeting this year had a black Type 3. Keep us on our toes, Everett. ;-) Dave.
