If you really want to do this, you should plan for your car to be out of 
commision for awhile. You should have another car to drive while you get this 
one working right. If you figure this will be a quick and painless conversion 
you are almost certain to be disappointed. It CAN be done, but there is almost 
always a learning curve as you work to get the carbs jetted right and working 
correctly (not too lean, not to rich) at all speed and load conditions. None of 
this is automatic and the usual solution is to leave the carb over jetted and 
running extremely rich. This causes accelerated wear on the engine, especially 
rings and cylinder walls.

The FI distributor that you already have is probably as good as anything you'll 
find to work with the dual carbs.

You should carefully remove and save ALL the FI parts in case you change your 
mind later, or in case someone else needs them. I might even be interested in 
buying most everything as I have a 73 that I will be putting back to FI soon.  

Power for the chokes and cut-off valves is readily available from the + 
terminal of the coil.
