> Any reason why I should replace both rears? Or should I not > waste my time and money? > If you can spare the time to check the reason for the leaking, it may be a worn out cylinder or it may be an old rubber that isn't sealing well. You will probably need to replace the linings both sides anyway as at least one side will be contaminated. It's worth peeling back the rubber seal on the non-leaking one to see if any fluid has got that far as it's much easier to replace it before it leaks over the new shoes. It's a gamble after that as to whether it will leak before the new shoes wear out. I suspect the original wheel cylinders could be better quality than the replacements. The time saved isn't that much, and if that one leaks later, you will have to do the whole job again anyway. I'd probably conserve my original one and hope! Be ready to change the metal line that connects to the rear of the wheel cylinder if there's much rust there - maybe not the problem in Ca as it is in the UK, where it's sometimes difficult to unscrew the union nut without tearing the pipe.
