Re: [T3] sleep-in extender installation update

<x-flowed>Greg,

This is my first post to the T3 list and probably won't be the last, counting on the fact that I MAY be buying my first VW, a '67 squareback, in the next few days. Anyway, I've just gotta say that these sleep-in hinges are awesome looking. I wish it was something anyone could get their hands on and not a vintage accessory! Very cool!

There's still a bit more fabrication left to do for some of the chain and cable mounting. I'm also not sure at all what the cable hooks are supposed to look like or how they mount to the cable, but I'll come up with something.

If anybody goes hunting for a set, get a sense beforehand of all the little hardware bits that are supposed to go with 'em. More importantly, if you ever pull a set from a car, it probably won't be obvious what's stock and what came with the extender kit unless you compare it with another car. Err on the side of extracting more rather than less.
