[T3] Headliner questions

Since we are a few weeks away from painting, I need to think about 
replacing the slightly ripped and brittle headliner.

1. Is there any real difference between the JC Whitney vinyl headliners 
and TMI ones?

2. Would it help to make any marks or measurements before I remove the 
old headliner?

3. Are new bows required?

Any other tips would be appreciated.

With all the fenders, hood and trunk off and the windows out, the car 
looks more like a car bomb went off than a restoration!  People 
actually gasp in shock when they see it for the first time!
