<x-flowed> Subjects with a "re:" do not get prepended with a [T3], lest multiple replies grow into something like:

Subject: [T3] Re: [T3] Re: [T3] re: [T3] Re: trouble in paradise

What happened is that somebody posted to the list by creating a brand-new message with a subject line like:

Subject: Re: trouble in paradise

which won't pick up the [T3].

Aaron's right -- a proper filter will cue off of other headers. (This also helps distinguish private/public messages.)
