Your talking about the magnesium metal at the very
front of the motor, back of the car? 
I have one, but it came off a 6v, but i dont see where
that would make a difference being 6v/12v. I even
started to polish it..(then realizing just how hard it
is to polish magnesium.. 

I live in Riverside, CA ..
