Re: [T3] Door Not Closing


<x-flowed>Okay, I pulled the door latch mechanism out and it turns out the spring
did fall off an was nearby. I put the spring back on and put the latch back in.
But the same thing happened. I took it out again and realized that the
release shaft (horseshoe) does not fit tightly enough in the rectangluar
opening of the plate that the spring is attached to.


Any ideas?

Yes, there is extra pressure on the door and the latch, but this little coil
spring doesn't feel anything different. I think this will be more clear to you
when you get the latch mechanism apart and see what this little spring actually
does.
