The engine number is located on the top of the engine stamped in the metal, IIRC, it is roughly between the Distributor and the breather box, inline with center of the engine. It will probably have crud all over it so you may have to scrape it with something, rag on a screw driver works for me. > Were there any other starting letters that were also > FI? As a standard thing, not a custom option? I think all the FI engines start with "U" at least according to the timing chart.
