Re: [T3] Couple questions: Wiring harness


After ripping into several junkers I would say DO NOT rip out the wiring,
leave it!  From the examples I've seen after removing factory electrical cloth
tape or wire-bundle sheathing, the original wiring and plastic sheathing
remains in like-new condition even after all these years.  If a wire is in
question just simply cut off the weathered, exposed wire down far enough to
expose the good looking part and SOLDER the new wire to it, then properly
insulate the joint.
