Hello- Do you mean synthetic oil? Synthetic oils don't somehow "make things overheat." Also, too high an oil temperature (unless it is something like 500F, which isn't possible) doesn't make pistons crack. Your heads overheating is another story... but there's no way that was caused by synthetic oils, either.
