i got the same email because i had signed up to get more information a 
few months back. i run a pretty large website ( http://www.type4.org ) 
and could also be a potential target for litigation.

when i read the terms and conditions the only thing in the back of my 
mind was the simple fact that they do indeed have the bigger stick. 
whichever way you cut it, they can do pretty much anything as long as 
you use one or more of their trade marks. as the saying goes, you have 
to pick your battles wisely, and that's just not a battle i want to 
risk fighting.

to make a long story short, i went ahead and applied. i'll share my 
experiences from here on out with the list if there is interest.
