[T3] Help! Brake leaks

Hi all,
my 1970 notch's brake system is still leaking.
MC leaks a bit (a few drips from the MC cover plate), and actually i am 
waiting for the (expensive!) new ATE one, but i am confused:
the fluid reservoir is full in its front section and empty in its rear 
section (fault in rear brake lines, right?), and the most of leaking is 
under the center of the car.
I have not suitable tools to raise the car enough, so i couldn't look 
clearly: in the central tunnel, about under the rear foot compartment, 
(excuse me, as usual, for my imprecise language) it seems to be an hole, and 
most brake fluid has dripped from that hole.
What should i check?
Can brake lines get rusted and leak although the whole car is rust-free?
Lastly, i'm thinking about rebuilding the original MC: for this purpose i 
need appropriate rebuild kit but in italy i can't find it.
Where can i search on the internet? Is that kit the same as the 
beetle/superbeetle's or type2's one?
