Hello- You have a '73... I should caution you... copper plug leads + electronic fuel injection = bad idea. Copper leads make a lot of noise! It'll also dirty up your radio stations. Also, I don't think that nice stereo speaker wire you spoke of was designed to keep 40,000V signals isolated, either. Audio systems operate quite a bit below this range (well, except for high-end electrostatic speaker systems, but even then the 25,000V+ signals usually originate and end in the speaker itself - no cable transmission). It likely won't help with your spark plugs. Why don't you just get suppressed leads? There's absolutely nothing wrong with them. You won't get a performance gain by going to a straight copper wire. The company you are talking to, Magnacor, makes some excellent suppressed leads - just get some from them.
