[T3] San Jose, CA '68+ VW club

	I recently found out about the "Better Late than Never" club 
that meets Thursday evenings in the south bay:

They meet Thursday evenings at Mountain Mikes Pizza, 5229 Stevens 
Creek Blvd in Santa Clara.  I'm going to try to head down there one 
of these Thursdays, maybe even tomorrow (4/24).

	It's kind of an interesting situation... I know that all 25+ 
year old VWs (now even water cooleds) qualify for vvwca, but the 
local chapter only had show classes for 1967 and older VWs at their 
San Jose show this year.  There are many tough issues for that show 
for show organizers, and the decision to allow only 36-year-old and 
older cars was likely a complicated one, but I wonder how it's going 
to play out with the local scene.

	Ok, I'm rambling.  If anybody else with one of these 
new-fangled, modern Type IIIs that's only 30-35 years old is up for 
meeting up with these folks, drop me a line!
