Park is actually spring loaded. If you drop it in while moving, It will
just ratchet.
I have tried to destroy a T-3 automatic before by putting it into
reverse and park while moving at 40 mph. It ignored reverse until it was
down to about 15 mph, and just ratcheted in park until the car came to a
complete stop.
