The same rule applies for parts washer fluid as does any other chemically
based substance.
I hate to say it but the more environmentally freindly it is the less
effective it is.

Water based stuff is worthless... an exercize in frusteration.  I got a new
parts washer too, it has the petro based stuff and works quite well except
for the Pump...  defective design, and with all the trouble of draining the
damn thing out, drying it, disassembling it and bringing it back it wasnt
worth returning.  So I got no pump, they arent avail seperately, so Im going
to try to get creative.
