Almost like VW in the 70s and 80s. There were a few models that were also sold as Audis, with more or less similar bodies. I'm glad we never saw the type 3 (mandatory content) badged as something scary.... It was during the wonderful days of General Motor's streamlining operations where they had the same basic car in each division, just tacked on a different front end for each car and changed the trim around a little.
