No, and it is likely to drain your time and money resources and divert you 
from things that really DO need attention.

You really should get completely familiar with your car BEFORE you start a 
restoration. That's the only way you can do a reasonable job without 
spending an infinite amount of time and money. There's no way to figure out 
all the things that will need to be fixed unless you have at least made mental 
notes of everything. Notes written down are much better.
