I'm really kicking myself for bending the original trim, as I knew it would be difficult to replace, but then again, I think I could probably do it over ten times again and still have the same problem, it was very delicate, in my opinion. At least I feel better because it was in bad shape, rusted. One can't get the trim off without bending damage. That's why they sell it so cheap (about $50 for a whole car). Your whole windshield seal with trim should cost less than $100.
