I know I have a windshield, gasket, and trim, but the gaskets are notorious 
for losing flexibility and not sealing if reused. I don't know how I could ship 
the trim safely.

Can anyone tell me: When VW sold replacement trim, was it bent to shape, 
or did it come straight, to be bent to fit as it was installed?
