Carbs (some anyway?) are designed to be used so that the float chamber is in front of (front is front!) the venturi, to reduce the chance of fuel starvation when going uphill. Maybe it's too much fuel, if your carbs are stock 32PDSIT. If yours are after-market not stock, are they the other way round? I guess if so, fuel-level adjustment might be a solution, but it's beyond my experience. Dave.
