<x-charset iso-8859-1>Thanks to all for the replies to my posting. The consensus is that it is a fuel-supply problem and that is where I will start. As the carbs have seemed to work up to now, it seems logical to start with cleaning out the fuel tank and changing the fuel hoses, to get them into a known state. Once I have done this, then I'll give the carbs the attention they deserve. Can someone tell me the size and type of fuel line to get, and what length to replace all of them? Is there just one hose from the fuel tank to the engine (my car has dual carbs), and then the short hoses inside the engine bay, or am I forgetting something?
