Hello All, I have a 1964 Squareback Variant "S" that I need to send to a good home. I'm moving from San Francisco to New York in November and I sure would like to see this car go to an authentic enthusiast rather than some punk 16 year old kid that won't really know what to do with it. This car is about 90% restored. A few minor things need to be done to it, that I don't have the patience or the time for. Getting married and moving across the country in the next two months, sort of makes me put my baby on the back burner. The car has been garaged for the past six years that I have owned and slowly has been resurrected from the dead. Here's what's been done: *Brand new interior-carpet & carpet padding *seat upholstery and seat cushions *headliner *steering stablizer *new battery *new shocks *brakelines *tires *wheel cylinders *new upper and lower ball joints *all new rubber on every window, door, hood, hatch and engine compartment *new seals around turn signals and tail lights. A strong, recently rebuilt, rarely driven 1600 engine with dual WEber 40 ICT's and low profile manifolds (so the air cleaners fit!). It has also been repainted inside and out a greener than seafoam, seafoam green. If you catch my meaning. What needs to be done? *The left front fender had been hit about a month after the car was painted. It was perfect only for a month! :( I haven't had the time or resources to fix it. I do however, have a replacment fender but I haven't decided if it's easier to fix the existing one, or make the replacement fender work. You can decide that. I also have paint already mixed for it from the shop I orginally bought the paint from. *Turn signals and headlights need to be configured to work properly. *Tray under the battery could use a little attention. Other Features: Side Markers Original Airplane Style Shoulder Seatbelts Original Steering Wheel and Shift Knob Chrome Dash Hardware Glove box in tact Push Button Switches Other hard to find interior type items Some rare books and manuals and other things I cannot think of... If you are interested in inquiring about this car, please send emails to an alternate address: tonyfalcone72@hotmail.com, or we can speak over the phone, or you can come see it. I will respond with pictures if you like.
