Marc, just a couple questions. >(2)Welded .10/.10 counterweighted crank --why not std/std, unless you already have the bearings for it? >(3)WebCam "86" Grind with matching Johnson lifters. --I haven't heard about the quality of Johnson lifters, but why not use WebCams lifters since they make the cam? >(10) OEM 32PDSIT carbs with 34PDSIT jets and venturis. --I haven't heard of doing this before, is there enough of a gain in performance that makes this worth it? >(11) Extractor exhaust system with single glasspack. --glasspack muffler is very LOUD (BTDT), wouldn't a nice "fatboy" muffler sound better here,or even dual mufflers? >(12) OEM Bosch 1967 distributor --does this dizzy have both vac advance and mechanical advance? wouldn't an FI dizzy work better here? Marc, other than my questions, it seems as though you've thought everything out well, and it should be a good reliable engine for you when completed.
