<x-charset iso-8859-1>Saturday I sealed up my loose right-hand side carburetor intake sleeve with some Loctite #64000 as recommended by a couple listees. Found the product at AutoZone. I also removed, cleaned, resealed, and repacked my fuel pump. Sunday I tested out the fix by taking a 80 mile round trip to pick up a roof rack for my Bus. It didn't fit in the back of the Squareback so I strapped it to the roof with some bungees and towels. Unfortunately I didn't get it tight enough and a towel shifted, causing the rack to scratch my roof. I was pissed at myself the rest of the day.
