for example, my 205s aren't as stiff as my old 165s were on the 4.5 
wheel, but man on long drives (400+ in one shot) they made my 42 year 
old suspension feel much more 'seat' friendly!  also, consider the 
driving style you have with a given car.  anyway, it can be done, or 
not, depending on what you are looking for.
