<x-charset iso-8859-1>JohnJ=> I have compression, spark, and fuel... => ...what gives? When it gets to this point for me I start looking for that "doh" moment and the self-administered dope slap. Is there maybe something physically blocking the left intake (at idle, is it sucking air)? Are the plug wires *really* not crossed up? It was running well before, so you know it's not something critically wrong. If I remember right, this started with checking the valve seats on the 3/4 side. What else did you disassemble in the process? (Sorry if we're doing some backtracking here, my memory isn't great.) Did you do it in the car or with engine out? Did you pull the distributor off to clear the engine out of the car? I'd step back through the process this way and recheck every reassembly until the mistake comes to light. (I know, this is basic, but when things start to get weird ...) Sorry I can't be more help, but you've been doing an excellent job on diagnosis.
