earlier model that says VW 1600 L which probably had the single, smaller 
Variant under that one (I cant remember where I got it).

Anyway, my point here is that the older 1600 L script doesnt fit my 73, 
as the pins are smaller (thinner) and it will not sit in the plastic 
grommets in my tail gate.
