You're probably better off with an original.  In fact, I'll bet the old one
you are running is fine.  I know that the common "blue" coils are made in
Mexico and in Brazil.  I had a Mexican blue coil that lasted all of about 3k
miles before crapping out (the primary coil opened).  

FWIW: On the Mexican, when I shook it I could feel the oil inside sloshing
around.  A Brazilian blue that I have does not slosh.  And it's still good. 
So is the original black coil I pulled recently from a junkyard squareback to
replace that newer Mexican coil.
