If you tilted the engine up on its tail, then a lot of oil probably drained out of the engine and collected in the fan housing. There is a drain in the bottom of the fan housing, but it is always clogged up by this time. Get under the car with a drain can to catch the oil, and poke a stick up this hole to clear it. The hole is at the seam between fan housing halves and is about 3/16" diameter. I think you're just stirring up the oil that has collected there. You can drain the lion's share, but this is probably pretty messy and will drip for a long time.
