I've seen someone POR-15 their glovebox, it looked very solid.  That would
probably repel moisture.  So would spray paint.

I've Papier-MachŽ'd a glovebox before that was coming apart from water damage
and had some small holes, it worked pretty well.  A good temporary solution.
