Andy - How about the infamous battery section? Mine has a few holes in it. Jeff '67 Sqbk Nevada City -----Original Message----- From: type3@vwtype3.org [mailto:type3@vwtype3.org]On Behalf Of Andy Vaughan Sent: Tuesday, October 15, 2002 9:52 AM To: type3@vwtype3.org Subject: [T3] followup: Por 15 ... ; body metal available soon (long) Howdy folks. Lots of response about the '67 squareback body. Thanks. Every buck is going to make the "frankensquare" look much better for the paint. Several parts are gone, but there's still some good stuff left: ----------------------------- Rear apron -- a little bent, but unrusted (too oily to rust, I guess) Roof section -- totally rust and damage free, although I'm not sure if it'll ship. Metal dash -- in great shape, original white (like that'll matter once the saw starts...)-- no dashpad, or at least no untrashed dashpad. Nose section: Smashed, pulled out, and I think smashed again. Still if you need some metal to patch some sections, this might work **priced to move** =0) I'm sure there's some stuff I've not even considered yet. Send me a drawing, or a photo with some directions on it, and I'll see if I can chop it out. --------------------- Inquired about, but not confirmed (If you e-mailed and if you want 'em, drop me a line): --------------------- Rear bumper mounts --------------------- Spoken for: --------------------- Heater channels (to me) Rockers (to me) Hinges and door columns Driver's body section behind rocker (where wiring exits cab) Cowl vent section (all the way into the trunk) Rear window sills For interested parties, I can ship, or even meet you in Northern California for large stuff. I live in Belmont, CA -- south of San Francisco. If it rides on the main body, and you want it ... two weeks left ... tick, tick, tick. Thanks, all.
