While the single carb engine was kept all the way through 73, it was 
only sold in the 1600A models. These cars retained the single carb, they 
had 1500 engines and they were swingaxle cars, not IRS. The interior of 
the 1600A was pretty basic as well, with leatherette and rubber mats, no 
clock and not even a passenger sun visor. I guess the AT wasnt available 
for these models. It is possible that Simon Glen would know more about 
this, but I havent seen him post anything here the last few months.
