[T3] how do i remove/separate the valve heads?

I have a scrap long block w/ salvageable parts, except
the block w/ a golf ball size hole through it. this
moter has been sitting (apparently outside) since
'74,Im tearing it down to salvage as many parts as i
can, Im having trouble removing the valve heads from
the cylinder heads, I have remove the top 4 bolts and
also the 4 under the valves themselves. Is there
something else I should be removing? or is this thing
just stuck? Im assuming the cylinder heads and valves
are separate right?
