Would this engine be built up
using a "universal" engine case? If so, could it be
leaking from the port that the beetles use for an oil
pressure sender? Or maybe the oil galley that has a
a plug directly below and left of the distributor?
Also, have you checked the parting line of the two
case halves for a leak that might be caused by a poor
seal of the case halves?
