Morning, I just posted new pics from the Notch engine rebuild. I had got a box of goodies from Berg the other day. The first photo is the valve train with shims (No More Wavy Washers!) and safety wires. Photo 2 is from a VolksWorld magazine I saw the other day, it's from 1999 and shows a Type 3 exhaust conversion kit, the website is "www.germancarcompany.com", I haven't chaecked it out yet but they might still have some laying around. Pics 2 & 3 are the full flow plumbing and engine hanger I had to cut out. Fitting the plumbing to the engine and clearing it took about three days of taking parts off and on and filing and tightening. I just hope it doesn't leak. Anyway, the pics are at "http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/waltee@prodigy.net/lst?.dir=/Notchback+pics&.src=ph&.order=&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/", more to come.
