[T3] any good engine building places

hey all,

Here's a question for you. Now my engine which is a
bonstock 1600cc needs to be replaced. Since I am
unsure if it is rebuildable (since I haven't pulled it
yet out of the car but the dang thing looks like death
warmed over.) I am wondering about good engine
builders at all. Obviously I will not be doing
anything to the engine for at least a year but in this
time I would like a few ideas on where I can get a new
engine. Although if my old engine is good then,
eventually I will get a rebuild kit and do it myself
but for the initial restoration a new engine should be
in place. The type of engine would either be another
bonestock 1600 or maybe even a 1776 but I am unsure
about it since their are questions that I have about
it in terms of hardware.

1. If I get a 1776 cc engine, can I use my original
fuel system provided that it is in still good working
order. My car is Fuel Injected and I plan on keeping
it that way.
2. Do most engine rebuild companies give you a choice
of hydraulic lifters or do they just put the
mechanical lifters in. (perferably hydraulic lifters
for me)

any help here is appreciated.
