<x-charset ISO-8859-1>>Why not let them finish the job. The cheap >guys will just give you a job that you'll >never be happy with. OTOH, a complete >respray is REALLY expensive to get done >RIGHT. I can't afford it. The insurance is only paying half the cost of the repairs, because we don't have no fault here in CA. It's some kind of 50/50 law that applies when both cars are backing up. I asked the guy at this shop, and he actually recommended going to a cheap place, because his place would be so expensive---$2000-$3000. But The B. really does need a paint job; she's got a lot of little scrapes and dings that are starting to rust, not to mention an orange fender from a previous mishap. I live ½ block away from the beach, and the salt air is a killer, even tho I keep The B. garaged. ---Lori ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/ </x-charset>
